Chelsey Engel is a writer, photographer, and activist living in Pittsburgh, PA. After earning her bachelor's degree in photojournalism from Point Park University in 2011, she began working in communications
with the United Steelworkers.
Outside her work as a union thug, Chelsey freelances and volunteers for as many organizations and causes as she can, from political campaigns to community and fundraising events.
When she isn't writing, fighting, or marching for justice, you can find her working on one of her several novels or lounging at home with her cat watching Cate Blanchett movies.
A Summer of Fever and Freedom
Set during one of America’s most tumultuous periods, Chelsey's debut novel is a historical fiction ode to coming out, coming of age, and coming together.
